Graduates from the Institute of Economics and Management are intellectually fit and prepared to assume entrepreneurial and business roles, in both management and economics, in a domestic as well as international environment. They possess knowledge of micro- and macroeconomics, finance and marketing, enriched by contemporary thinking in their chosen areas.

Our graduates are prepared to independently recognise and solve problems in their respective areas of specialisation, in a manner compliant with ethical, social and legal principles. They know at least two foreign languages (English compulsory plus another language of choice), to degree to be comfortably familiar with economics and management terminology.

Our students develop their knowledge not solely through lectures and tutorials. The character of our studies programme is oriented towards group learning and project work. The latter comprises compulsory project assignments as well as optional ones, which our students take up on their own initiative. These optional projects include a management competition, based on Euromanager, the inter-active business simulation, and the SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) programme. Teaching through group project assignment enables us to, both apply theory in practice, and acquire social skills and teamwork.
